ASRF Event Sanction Application

Please note that all applications for an ASRF sanction must be tabled and approved at an ASRF Victoria Divisional Council Meeting

These occur monthly (click here to see calendar)

DO NOT apply for a sanction if your event date is less than 7 days after the next ASRF Victoria Divisional Council Meeting date

The sanction is NOT APPROVED until such time as an ASRF Sanction number has been issued

SANCTION FEE / DEPOSIT (as applicable).

Sanction fee must be paid upon application submission, and will be refunded if application is unsuccessful

The Promoter of the event agrees to abide by the rules of the ASRF as per the handbook.

The Promoter of the event acknowledges the conditions & limitations of ASRF Public Liability Insurance coverage

SANCTION FEES: Cruise Night $5.00

Club Run / Display / Charity Event / Swap Meet $20.00 per day

Public Charged Admittance $100.00 per day

NOTE: If sanction application is not accompanied by the appropriate fee, the sanction may not be approved.

Please note this form is in 2 sections

Many sanctions will fall within Section A and can be approved at State Council level.

Events with over 1000 spectators or a Go-Whoa driving event will require both Section A and Section B to be completed and require head office verification prior to a sanction being issued.

Please read carefully and fill out the relevant questions to assist in the turn-around time for approvals and sanctioning.

For SECTION B sanctions it is a 3 stage process. If your event is a significant undertaking, please ensure you seek a sanction at the onset of any planning to ensure you are not out of pocket if a sanction for whatever reason is not granted or is granted with conditions.

The Club is an ASRF affiliated club that satisfies all affiliation requirements, including the need for the club and all its members to be currently financial
If an individual applying, please be very specific when detailing the event. It must be the person making the sanction request that is in control of the event. Any event with an involvement of a third party will require National Control Council agreement. National Control Council approval required prior to sanction being issued
